Welcome to Koh Samui, Thailand : The Paradise on Earth.

Paradise on Earth at Koh SamuiKoh Samui is located in the Gulf of Thailand, about 35 km north east of Surat Thani town (9 ° N, 100 ° E). The island is about 21 km wide and 25 km at its longest side. There is a 51-kilometre ring and largely coastal road encircles the island.

About sixty surrounded it other islands, most of which are Ang Thong National Marine Park, but also to other tourist destinations Koh Pha Ngan, Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan.

The island is roughly circular located 15 km across.. The central part of the island is an (almost) uninhabitable mountain jungle (peak Khao Pom, 635 M) and various regions of a single road connected the plane, which effect the size of the island.

Nathon is the former capital, on the southwest coast of the island and remains the most important fishing port and transport between the islands. Nathon is the seat of government, and the true commercial hub of the Samui locals. It has a charming pace, and is almost small enough to walk everywhere. The old Chinese shop houses along the street, in a whisper exotic history.

Each of Samui's primary beaches is now also nominally considered a town because of the number of hotels, restaurants and bars.
